Horse Rescue, Horses with Hope

Giving Horses Hope in Maine

Bit

Bit is a 5 year old mini mule that is with us for training from Home At Last Farm (HALF). Bit is as cute as they come! This adorable gelding hasn’t had the best start to life, but he got back on track when he landed in the capable hands of the team at HALF. Bit can be a bit nervous at times and has not had a lot of handling or formal training before arriving at HALF so we will be starting with the basics with him. We are excited to continue our partnership with HALF and get to work with such a cute, and smart gelding.

UPDATE: In June of 2022, Bit was adopted! He will be staying right here in Maine, and joining the family of another Horses with Hope alumni, Roman. We are sure that Bit and Roman will become fast friends, and extend our heartfelt thanks to Abby for opening her heart and home to another rescue equine.
