“Horses and children, I think, have a lot of the good sense there is in the world.” Josephine Demott Robinson
Miniature Horse
Hope’s story began in 2011 at Camelot Auction in New Jersey. Although she was matted and neglected, Horses with Hope saw her beauty and potential and gave her a second chance and a new lease on life. It was clear from the beginning that this wonderful girl had had a rough start in life. Her mane had been shaved, her hooves untrimmed, and unbeknownst to anyone at the time, she was carrying a foal! Although she had been placed with a family, we brought her back to HWH on account of her pregnancy, and through her delivery of a healthy little colt we named “Hope’s Dash.” With love and patience little Hope began to blossom and trust again, and became ready to share her true personality with a new family. She found companionship in the home of two little girls who adore her and shower her with love. It’s truly wonderful to see Hope living her happily, ever after.
