2015 Pinto Mini Horse
This adorable chestnut pinto goes by the name Squeak! He is only about a year old and is a perfect gentleman. Squeak came with Roscoe from the New Holland Auction on May 9, 2016. While at the auction he was so overwhelmed that he had shut down. He wasn’t eating hay or drinking. It was soon discovered that he had been removed from his herd that morning and haltered for the very first time. Squeak has settled in over the past month and is eager to interact with people and other animals. Although he is young he already stands perfectly for the farrier and veterinarian! We can’t wait to see him emerge from his shell in the coming months.
UPDATE: We are very pleased and excited to announce Squeak has found a forever home. While Squeak was with us, he managed to charm us all. He responded positively to everything that we did to him and so we knew he had to go somewhere special. That is when the Dunns reached out to us. As long time supporters of our program, the Dunns were thorough with their application and even had their references contact us. They already had a mini named Angel, whose pony friend recently moved to New Hampshire to become a lesson horse. We knew this was the place for our Squeak. So last week, we put little Squeak in a big trailer and sent him on his way. Angel could not wait to meet her new friend and within minutes they were trying to groom each other. Squeak is going to have a wonderful time filled with love, companionship and interaction. The grandchildren are already planning to build an obstacle course for the minis to keep in shape. Congratulations to the Dunns on their adoption of Squeak. We couldn’t be happier.
