Horse Rescue, Horses with Hope

Giving Horses Hope in Maine

Jet

Jet, aka “Rambling Jet”, is a 15.2 hand Standardbred gelding, with us for training from Futures for Standardbreds. He is 14 years old, and raced until September 2022. He was lightly started under saddle before joining us, but needs time to rest and recuperate physically from his racing career before doing much more. Our first goal with Jet will be to let him relax and just be a horse while we play around with groundwork and body work. He’s a total sweetheart who gets along well with others and loves being groomed. We are looking forward to learning more about this handsome guy as he settles in to the program.
