Motion is a lovely 5-year old, 15.1 hh Thoroughbred mare who joins us from the MSSPA. She was part of a forced surrender case last year, and arrived at the MSSPA in poor physical condition. Since then, Motion has had basic handling and has shown herself to be cautious yet friendly towards people. Initial vet evaluation upon intake showed her to have an old injury which might impact her ability to be ridden in future. However, after a year of healing in the MSSPA’s excellent care, she was reevaluated prior to joining our program and happily found to be sound with no major physical concerns. She gets along well with other horses, and has been settling right into her new environment here at HWH. We will post further updates and a more extensive evaluation as we get to know this sweet mare.
