2003 Percheron/Quarter horse gelding
Angus is a gentle giant who has earned himself a lifetime home as an invaluable member of the Horses with Hope training team. Originally from New Hampshire and broke to ride by a friend of the farm, Angus arrived years ago as a prospective ‘husband horse.’ With his steady, calm presence, Angus has helped show numerous anxious or green horses the ropes both in the arenas and out on the trails. Completely unflappable and an endlessly patient teacher, Angus is especially good at ponying other horses on outrides. His kind attitude towards both horses and humans make this big guy a pleasure to work around, and he is truly worth his weight in gold as a lifetime herd member.
