Annabelle

Annabelle is an adorable 14.2 hh, 18-year old Paint mare who joins us from the MSSPA. Along with several other horses, she came to the rescue after being seized by law enforcement and any riding or training history is unknown. She has shown herself to be a little bit cautious initially around people, but she is not spooky of her environment and easily does all of our obstacles. Annabelle is lovely to lead and handle, and stands well for vet and farrier. She does have some concern about flyspray and bath time, which we are working through and she is learning quickly. Annabelle does connect well with a handler in the round pen and is a blast to play with at liberty. She is confident about leaving friends to work alone, and is a steady influence in her turn out group. We look forward to getting to know this sweet girl further as we continue our evaluation, and will be sure to post further updates as they become available.
