Phoebe

Phoebe is a 4-year old Standardbred mare who joins us for training from our friends at the Dorset Equine Rescue. She was part of a large seizure which took place in New York State this past winter, and at that time had spent her whole life living with her mom and several other mares in neglectful conditions. After several months of rehabilitation and basic handling at Dorset, Phoebe was ready for the next step in her training journey. While she is only just settling in, we can already tell that she is very sweet and friendly towards both people and other horses. She just hasn’t done much yet, so everything is new and she is essentially a clean slate. We look forward to continuing with the excellent start Phoebe received at Dorset, and will post updates on her progress as they become available.
