Rico

Rico joins us for training from Gerda’s Equine Rescue in Vermont. This handsome BLM Mustang is 4 years old and currently stands 14.2 hh. He is well put together, and has an athletic build and lovely big solid feet. He was feral and unhandled when Gerda rescued him from a Texas kill pen in the fall of 2025. Since then, he has had basic handling and can now be haltered, groomed, and have his feet picked out. He simply hasn’t yet had much regular training and appears cautious, yet curious around people. We look forward to getting to know Rico as he settles in here on the farm, and will post training updates as they become available.
