Simba

Simba joins us for further evaluation and training from our friends at Kritter Ridge Equine Sanctuary in Stow, Maine. He is an adorable 14.1 hh, 9 year old Quarter horse gelding. Simba is said to have been ridden, but in the past few years was bounced between farms and ultimately abandoned at a Standardbred farm when his previous owner left town. Fortunately, the farm owner reached out to Kritter Ridge, who were able to step in and rescue Simba from a very uncertain future. Upon initial evaluation, Simba has already shown himself to be a quiet, kind, thoughtful little guy who clearly has prior training. He stands for vet and farrier, has a solid understanding of groundwork, and is pleasant to handle and work around.
