Bear is a 5 year old, bay roan Spanish Mustang gelding who joins us for training from the MSSPA. He was part of a state seizure along with two other mustangs in January 2023, and at the time was completely feral. Bear has come a long way under the experienced care of the MSSPA, and while still nervous at times is now a sweet, friendly little guy who is ready to learn. He will require a small rider as he stands only 13.3 hh, but will make someone a great project pony. We look forward to working with Bear, and will be sure to post more updates as they become available!
UPDATE: Bear has been adopted! He has joined a family in southern Maine, with an experienced owner who had been looking for a Mustang to bring along as her next partner. We are so excited for Bear and Alexis, and wish them all the best as they begin a new journey together. Congratulations!
