Our newest arrival is 4 year old, Dallas! This handsome miniature horse gelding was a cryptorchid until a few months ago and after a lengthy recovery from surgery and a great start with the folks at Home At Last Farm (HALF), he is ready to begin the next step of his journey. Upon first impressions, Dallas appears to be energetic, friendly and very personable. We are beginning with basic handling, ground manners, and exposure to new surroundings and obstacles. Dallas is already very enjoyable to work with and we are looking forward to continuing his training, and beginning our new training partnership with HALF.
*Update: We are thrilled to announce that Dallas has found his forever home right here in Maine! Dallas will be a companion to another gelding, and also a fun project for his new mom to enjoy. She hopes to continue his groundwork training, and pony him on the trails off her other gelding. Happy trails to Dallas and Diana!
