Owen is a 4 year old, 12 hh pony gelding who joins us for continued training from the MSSPA. He came to us with basic handling and groundwork skills, and we have introduced him to ground driving, long lining, and tack. Nothing fazes him, and he picks up on new concepts easily! Owen gets along wonderfully with other horses and is a friendly, in your pocket type with people. Owen has been here since early November 2022.
UPDATE: Owen has been adopted! This adorable pony left for his new home in Rhode Island in February 2023. He joins a loving family and will not only be providing companionship to another gelding, but will even have his own little girl to learn and grow alongside. We are thrilled for Owen, and wish him, his new mom Valerie, and their family many happy years together.
