2014 POA cross mare
Sauvée arrived at the farm in March of 2018, as part of a new collaboration with New England Equine Rescue (NEER North), of West Newbury, Massachusetts. Along with her mom, Sauvée was originally rescued as a foal from a Texas killpen where she had sustained a broken jaw and was in poor condition. Happily, she landed at NEER and has proven to be a super sweet little girl who loves people and learns quickly. At only 4 years old, Sauvee will continue to benefit from regular training, but in time we could see her doing pony rides or light driving. She already has a great foundation thanks to the wonderful work put into her at NEER, and we look forward to continuing her education and helping this adorable little mare find her forever home. UPDATE: In August of 2018, Sauvee found her forever home! This sweet little girl has a fantastic new family right here in Maine, with another horse for company and several children who dote on her. We are thrilled for Sauvee and her good fortune, and wish her and her family all the best.
