Simba joins us for further evaluation and training from our friends at Kritter Ridge Equine Sanctuary in Stow, Maine. He is an adorable 14.1 hh, 11 year old Quarter horse gelding. Simba is said to have been ridden, but in the past few years was bounced between farms and ultimately abandoned at a Standardbred farm when his previous owner left town. Fortunately, the farm owner reached out to Kritter Ridge, who were able to step in and rescue Simba from a very uncertain future. Though he has only just arrived, Simba has already shown himself to be a quiet, kind, thoughtful little guy and we look forward to getting to know him.
