2003 chestnut mini gelding
Spartan is a sweet and sensible little guy who takes everything in stride. He stands 37 inches tall. Spartan came to us suffering from laminitis and Cushings disease. We are happy to say that he is recovering very well and is ready to start looking for his forever family. His Cushings is managed by a fairly inexpensive medication and his laminitis has been helped with proper and frequent farrier work. Spartan gets along very well with other miniatures, and horses, so he would make a great companion. Though he is still working on his ground work, Spartan is a very sweet, fun, little gelding that would make a great addition to someone’s family.
*Update: Spartan has found his forever home! Spartan will living close by in Maine at Apifera Farm with a bunch of other donkeys and animal friends. He will eventually be part of their therapy program. His new mom Katherine already loves him dearly and we are so excited that he his found such a great home! Congratulations Katherine and we wish you the best of luck with little Spartan!
