This beautiful 16 year old, 15.1 hh mare joins our program from Gerda’s Equine Rescue in Vermont. Winter is looking for a place to call home! This beautiful 16 year old Morgan Cross mare is available for adoption as a companion only. Winter has excellent ground manners, is good for the vet and farrier, and loves working in hand at the walk.
Unfortunately, we recently discovered that Winter has a condition called Degenerative Suspensory Ligament Desmitis and cannot be ridden. DSLD is a progressive disease, but Winter appears to be in the early stages and is still very happy and comfortable in her everyday life.
